iPhone: iPhone 6 and later on iOS 10 or newer — that covers every iPhone still receiving updates.

The things people ask before buying
How do I know if my car is compatible?
Plug your phone into your car's USB port with a data cable. If CarPlay or Android Auto appears on your car's screen, ZeroCord will work. If nothing appears, your car doesn't have CarPlay built in and no adapter can add it. Email us your make, model and year if you'd rather we check for you.
Is there a delay compared to a cable?
Startup takes around 10 seconds versus roughly 3 seconds for a cable. Once connected, touch response and navigation feel the same. Audio is streamed rather than sent over USB, so on a high-end factory system a critical ear may notice a difference on lossless tracks. For podcasts, navigation, calls and streaming music, it is indistinguishable.
Does my phone still charge?
Not through the adapter — it occupies the USB port and doesn't pass charge through. That's the honest trade-off of every wireless adapter. Most cars have a second USB port or a 12V socket; if yours doesn't, a cheap wireless charging pad or a 12V USB adapter solves it.
Do I have to pair it every time?
No. You pair once during setup. After that it reconnects on its own each time you start the car, as long as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are switched on. You can pair multiple phones and it will connect to whichever one is in the car.
Will it drain my car battery?
No. It draws power from the USB port, which in almost every car cuts out with the ignition. It uses well under a watt while running. You can leave it plugged in permanently.
